This 2015 Britannia 1oz gold uncirculated coin features a dimpled background for the first time. Struck in 24 carat gold, 0.9999 fineness, the Britannia is British legal tender and is exempt from Capital Gains Tax. This is a bullion investment product.
The 2015 coins have a new finish. The field on both sides of the coin has a dimpled effect, giving it a matte finish. This dimpled finish helps to hide any production marks which have seen in coin from previous years.
The 1oz gold Britannia has a denomination of £100 pounds.
