We sent an invoice and are waiting patiently for your payment
We feel so strongly about this that we telephoned him. We were also puzzled as to why he felt it necessary to post negative:-
His main complaint seemed to be that he sent us two or three e-mails without getting a reply. We do state on all our ebay items and our about us page that we get thousands of emails daily, and to telephone us rather than email, he does not seem to have read this.
Why he could not follow the idiot proof guidelines, and post us a cheque, we do not know.
He also mentioned that we relisted the item, and thought it might have been because we did not get a high enough price from him. We invest several hours in creating most of our ebay offers, this investment only gets repaid because we repeat the offer many times over during the course of a year. If we make £5 selling the item, then 365/10 = 36 sales per annum = £180 per year gross profit. He is not the first ebay buyer to give us a negative because we have relisted "their" item. One way for us to try to avoid this in future would be to add a paragraph to every listing making it obvious that we have more than one similar item to sell. This may infringe ebay listings guidelines because they may interpret it as an invitation to buyers to contact us directly and avoid ebay's selling fees, besides, many people would not bother to read it.
Along with most ebayer's this person has not followed ebay's guidelines before posting negative feedback.
