Why Have We Removed Our "More Information" Links?
On all our ebay offers, we used to include a link to a page on one of our numerous websites, giving you further and better information about the product and other similar products. It was part of our policy and belief that a better educated and informed customer is a better customer.
Unfortunately due to ebay listings policy, we are not permitted to include a link to any outside web site or page which may offer the same or similar items for sale. As all of our information pages on our websites contain links to other pages which may offer similar or other items for sale, this would breach ebay's links rules.
One of our less-than-professional competitors has complained to ebay about our links. We suspect it may be one who provided a less-than-honest description of a Maria Theresa thaler. Many amateurs and small dealers or less than scrupulously honest when it comes to describing their goods.
We trust you will be able to find our information pages using a search engine such as google (www.google.com), and search terms such as our name "Chard", with or without a brief description of this item.
Ebay seem to hope you will be too stupid to do so, as it helps them retain their world monopoly on the internet auction market.
